After practising chiropody from Paisley Natural Therapy Centre for many years, Lorna Mackintosh set up Paisley Podiatry and Chiropody Centre with Marie McGurk in 2008. Their clinic is just 3 doors down from Paisley Natural Therapy Centre at 72A Causeyside Street, and bookings can be made through PNTC reception.

Lorna qualified with a diploma in Podiatric Medicine from Glasgow School of Podiatric Medicine in June 1991, and started private practice in Paisley Natural Therapy Centre that same year. Lorna also worked part time for the NHS in the community team in North and West Glasgow from 1992 before leaving to have her children in 2005.
Lorna also developed an interest in massage and in 1995 studied for an ITEC qualification in remedial massage; she uses the knowledge and skill she gained on this course to enhance her podiatry care.
Lorna is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
Marie qualified with an honours degree in 2004 and is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. She has a special interest in biomechanics, sports injuries and diabetes.
